After hours of pushing and still no progress, Vegeta was so exhausted he could no longer scream when a powerful contraction hit. “The … baby …” he managed to choke out in his agony. “Just let the contractions come,” Goku instructed Vegeta as he calmed from one, panting. “Can’t … something’s wrong…” Another contraction hit him and he screamed, large amounts of discharge issuing from the birth canal. Goku wasn’t sure what to do anymore. Vegeta gripped the sheets of the nest beneath him as he pushed his internal muscles to get the first baby out. He threw his head back as he cried and sobbed, as he spread his legs and moaned with all his might. As the contraction ended Vegeta collapsed onto the pillows in exhaustion, eyes closed, panting heavily. Goku made up his mind and dashed to the phone. By now Vegeta’s head was swimming all he remembered was Goku panicking above him…

Vegeta awoke to find himself away from his nest in an unfamiliar place. Looking around he blinked a few times to clear the blurriness from his eyes. As he tried to sit up only to stopped gently by Goku. “Lay still, it’s gonna be okay hon, relax, your at the hospital. They gave you an epidural.” He trusted his mate with his life, as well as the little lives he was carrying inside him. Vegeta didn’t have any reason or energy to do anything else. Before Vegeta could reply he tensed as the next contraction hit. Taking a shaky breath and closing his eyes, he pushed. Moaning as the pain continued, he finally felt the crowning of the head. Vision black beneath closed lids, he gave his lover’s hands a weak squeeze his legs trembling. A nurse arrived to help with delivery and waited patently between the prince’s legs. He pushed and pushed until the baby slipped out. “It’s out!” Then, his vision went fuzzy. He felt light-headed and dizzy. He heard a nurse yelling in the background.

“Mr Vegeta?!! Mr. Vegeta???!!! Oh No!!! He’s lost a lot of blood, somebody get me the-” He blacked out…
